Bombay Velvet is a crime romantic drama that is set in 1969 Bombay and revolves around a street fighter named Balraj ‘Johnny’ (Ranbir Kapoor), who falls in love with a jazz singer, Rosie Noronha (Anushka Sharma). He sees her with wealthy men and is tempted to become rich to win Rosie’s heart. In pursuit of wealth and fame, he enters the world of crime, however, he must face the consequences of this tempting yet dangerous world. Does Johnny succeed in winning Rosie’s heart or has come a long way in the world of crime to take a u-turn?
