Dariya-Dil is a family comedy drama. The movie revolves around Dhaniram (Kader Khan) and his family. Dhaniram is an absolute miser, who loves his money a lot, which doesn’t go well with his sons, Ajay (Shashi Puri) and Vijay (Raj Kiran), who devise a plan to exact some of his money, but get no success. Later, an Income Tax Officer, Gogi (Shakti Kapoor) and Dhaniram develop an enmity, and Gogi, along with his sister (Roshini) and brother, Gulu (Gulshan Grover), decide to trick Dhaniram and get hold of his wealth. It is then, Dhaniram’s third son, Ravi (Govinda), comes to the rescue of his father. Will Ravi be able to make things right for everyone?
