Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi is set in the town of Banaras where Durlabh Prasad (Sanjay Mishra), a soft-spoken middle-aged widower, runs a modest barber shop and leads a quiet, contented life with his brother-in-law Ram Manch Prasad (Shrikant Verma) and his nephew Murli (Vyom Yadav). Murli’s love story with Mehak (Pallak Lalwani) appears smooth until her wealthy, status-driven father, Braj Narayan Bharti (Pravin Singh Sisodiya), sets an odd precondition for their marriage: Durlabh must get married again. Determined to fulfill this demand, Murli takes it upon himself to find a suitable bride for his uncle. Meanwhile, Durlabh crosses paths with Babita Devi (Mahima Choudhary), a schoolteacher who is completely unlike the kind of woman he imagines marrying. What follows is a series of humorous and heartfelt events that drive this light-hearted comedy drama forward.
