Jab We Met is a musical romantic drama. It revolves around Aditya Kashyap (Shahid Kapoor), a wealthy businessman and Geet Dhillon (Kareena Kapoor), a cheerful and talkative Punjabi girl. Aditya is depressed and suicidal after his ex-lover gets married. He wanders around and boards the train aimlessly. He meets Geet on the train, which is followed by a night full of crazy events. Aditya gets off the train and Geet tries to get him back and the two end up missing the train. Geet wishes to elope with her boyfriend Anshuman to have a Bollywood love story. Later, Aditya falls in love with Geet. However, neither of them knows what destiny holds for them.
