Jazbaa is a crime thriller drama. The movie revolves around Anuradha Verma (Aishwarya Rai), an honest criminal lawyer and a single mother. Her life takes a turn when her daughter Sanaya (Sara Arjun) is kidnapped. The kidnapper blackmails Anuradha to defend criminal Niyaaz Shaikh (Chandan Roy Sanyal) who is convicted for the rape and murder of a young woman. Anuradha attempts to take the help of a suspended police officer Yohan (Irrfan Khan). The case is also followed by a powerful politician Mahesh Maklai (Jackie Shroff), as his son was also involved in the case. Being surrounded by troubles, will Anuradha agree to save a rapist from a death sentence?
