Jersey is a sports drama and a remake of the Telugu hit film of the same title released in 2019. The story is that of Arjun Raichand (Shahid Kapoor) who is an ex-cricketer and stays with his wife Vidya Raichand (Mrunal Thakur) and school-going son Karan Raichand (Ronit Kamra). Arjun finds it hard to forget his past and make both ends meet and doesn’t have enough money to gift his son a Sachin Tendulkar jersey. Constant tiffs between him and Vidya draw them apart that’s when he meets his coach Chandrashekhar Murthy (Pankaj Kapur) and decides to take the cricket field again in order to fulfill his son’s wish. Will Arjun take the cricket field and regain his past glory, will he rise to the occasion and set an example or continue living the life of a loser?
