Kai Po Che! is a political action sports drama based on Chetan Bhagat’s book ‘The 3 Mistakes of My Life’. The movie revolves around three friends – Ishaan Bhatt (Sushant Singh Rajput), Omkar Shastri (Amit Sadh) and Govind Patel (Rajkummar Rao) who decide to open a cricket academy to train aspiring cricketers. They succeed in establishing the academy as a cricket centre for the local youth. They spot a budding cricket talent in a local boy named Ali Hashmi (Digvijay Deshmukh) and Ishaan trains him with dedication. However, before they could realise their dreams, problems ensue in the form of earthquakes, unstable political situations and communal riots.
