Laaga Chunari Mein Daag is a Bollywood musical romantic drama. The movie revolves around two sisters, Vibhavari ‘Badki’ (Rani Mukherjee) and Shubhavari ‘Chutki’ (Konkona Sen Sharma), and their parents, who live on the banks of river Ganga in Varanasi. Badki, the elder sister, moves to Mumbai to support her financially crippled family. However, she ends up becoming a high-profile escort. She is invited by her sister Chutki to her wedding, but the truth of her profession could possibly ruin Chutki’s wedding.
