Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders is a murder mystery set in the town of Kanpur that revolves around two hoodlums hurling a blood-smeared pig’s head into the vast Bansal farmhouse, triggering a chilling investigation led by Inspector Jatil Yadav (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). At the scene, Jatil also discovers several dead birds, hinting at something far more sinister. As he questions the Bansal clan—Meera (Chitrangda Singh), Mahinder (S. M.
