Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani is a romantic family drama about Rocky Randhawa (Ranveer Singh) and Rani Chatterjee (Alia Bhatt). Rocky is a loud and flamboyant young Punjabi boy who lives a lavish life while Rani is a journalist who belongs to an intellectual Bengali family with a respectable upbringing. Despite belonging to different cultural backgrounds, they fall in love and subsequently face family opposition to their relationship. To get each other’s families' approval Rocky and Rani decide to doing a switch by living with each other's families for three months before getting married. If they are able to adjust with each other’s family they’ll get married or else call off their relationship. Will the couple succeed in their mission or not?
