Saaheb is a family romantic drama. The movie revolves around a young man named Sunil Sharma (Anil Kapoor), who is passionate about football and is a goalkeeper in his team. He lives with his family consisting of a retired father, an unmarried sister, and three brothers and their wives. None, other than Sunil’s eldest sister-in-law, Sujata (Raakhee), supports him for his career in sports. Later, Sunil’s father faces a financial crisis, as he has to pay dowry for his daughter’s wedding, but none of his sons help him. It is then Sunil comes across a wealthy man in need of a kidney for his son, and Sunil sells his kidney, risking his career, to help his father. Will everyone finally realise Sunil’s sacrifice and worth in the family?
