Sadak 2 picks up from where Sadak had left after Ravi (Sanjay Dutt) and Pooja (Pooja Bhatt) get married. Years pass as Pooja dies in an accident leaving behind her husband Ravi with a tour and travel agency to manage. Ravi wants to leave all behind and join his wife by committing suicide but meets Aaraya (Alia Bhatt), a young girl who is in the process to expose a fake godman (Makrand Deshpande) and her rich father (Jisshu Sengupta). After knowing Alia's story, Ravi vows to help and protect her till he doesn't put an end to the godman's life. In the process helping Aaraya and Ravi is Vishal (Aditya Roy Kapur).
