Akash Khurana is a writer, actor, producer and director in Bollywood. He started his career as an actor in Shyam Benegal’s Kalyug in 1981 and went to feature in films like Ardh Satya, Saaransh, Naam, Kabzaa, Saudagar, Beta, Sarfarosh, etc. As a screenwriter, he has written films like Aashiqui, Baazigar, Duplicate, Daag: The Fire and Aakrosh. He is the father of actor-director Akarsh Khurana.
