The Signature is the Hindi remake of the 2013 Marathi film Anumati that tells the story of an old couple, Arvind (Anupam Kher) and his wife Madhu (Neena Kulkarni), who have completed 35 years of marriage. One day Arvind's life suddenly turns upside down when his wife collapses at the airport just before an anticipated trip. Madhu is rushed to the hospital, where she is put on life support. Despite his limited financial resources, Arvind exhausts his savings in a desperate attempt to save her. His children remain indifferent, refusing assistance as he turns to friends for support. Lost between hope and despair, will Arvind save Madhu, or will realities take over?
