Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is a romantic comedy-drama starring Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Hasleen Kaur, Amber Rana, Monica Chaudhary, Inayat Verma, Rajesh Jais, and Raza Mishra. The film is produced and directed by Luv Ranjan. The movie follows the story of a young man named Rohan 'Mickey' Arora (Ranbir Kapoor) who stays in Delhi and is sly and makes a living by secretly working as a break-up consultant along with his friend Manu Dabbas (Anubhav Bassi), helping people to break-up with their respective partners. Mickey meets Nisha 'Tinni' Malhotra (Shraddha Kapoor) in Spain during Manu's bachelor party and falls in love with her. On return from Spain Tinni back home is introduced to Mickey's family and soon decides to fix a day for the wedding. As their marriage day approaches Tinni decides that she is not ready for marriage and so decides to hire a break-up consultant who unknowingly happens to be Mickey. What happens next, does Mickey call off the marriage or convince Tinni to give it a shot or does Tinni have other plans?
