Ayesha Takia is a former Indian actress and model. She made her acting debut with Abbas-Mustan’s fantasy action drama Taarzan: The Wonder Car (2004) alongside Vatsal Seth. Her role in the movie earned her Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Female. It was followed by her lead roles in movies like Dil Maange More!!! (2004), Shaadi No. 1 (2005), Dor (2006), Salaam-E-Ishq (2007), Fool N Final (2007), Cash (2007), Sunday (2008), De Taali (2008), Wanted (2009) and Paathshaala (2010). She married politician Abu Azmi’s son, restaurateur Farhan Azmi and the couple has a son.
