Rajkumar Kohli was one of Bollywood and Punjabi films famous producer and directors. He was born in 1930 and started his career as a producer by producing movies like Lootera, Gora Aur Kala, Moojrim, Shart, Danka, etc. Some of his Punjabi films were Main Jatti Punjab Di (1964), Pind Di Kudi (1963) and Sapni (1963). He turned director in 1973 with Kahani Hum Subb Ki after which he went on to churn out successful multi-starrers such as Nagin, Muqabla, Jaani Dushman, Badle Ki Aag, Naukar Biwi Ka, Insaniyat Ke Dushman, Aulad Ke Dushman, and Qahar. He worked with some of Bollywood’s biggest actors and technicians before succumbing to a heart-attack in Mumbai on 24 November 2023. He was married to actress Nishi Kohli while his sons were actors Armaan Kohli and Rajnish Kohli.
