Ravindra Berde was an actor who appeared in Marathi as well as Hindi films. He started his acting career in 1985 with the Marathi film Vahinichi Maya after which he appeared in Ek Gadi Baaki Anadi, Bhutacha Bhau, Hamaal De Dhamaal, Dhadakebaaz, Bandal Baaz, Garam Masala Uchla Re Uchla, Shodh, Khatarnak, etc. In his three-decade long career he acted in more than 100 Marathi films, and also appeared in several Hindi movies including Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham, Nayak: The Real Hero, Hum Do Anjaane and Yeshwant’, etc. He passed away on 13 December 2023 due to a heart attack after battling throat cancer at the age of 78 in Mumbai. He was the elder brother of late comedian actor Laxmikant Berde.
