Shahnawaz Pradhan was a popular television and film actor who was known for playing supporting roles in films like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Khuda Haafiz, Raees and Phantom. He had also featured in popular web series like - The Family Man and Hostages, and TV show Krishna and 24 among others. He is mostly remembered for his portrayal of Sindbad the Sailor in the popular fantasy television series, Alif Laila (1993–97). He died of a heart attack while attending an awards event in Mumbai on 17 February 2023.
