Veeru Devgan was an action coordinator who later went on to become a director, producer, and screenwriter in Bollywood industry. He started his career as an assistant action coordinator in Do Chor in 1972 while Roti Kapada Aur Makaan in 1974 became his first independent venture. He has conceived action sequences for nearly 150 films, which include famous films like Inkaar, Mr. Natwarlal, Lal Badshaah, Prem Granth, Dilwale, Jigar, Shahenshah, Mr. India, Boxer, Kranti, Dostana, Khoon Bhari Maang, etc. He made his directorial debut in 1999 with Hindustan Ki Kasam. His son is Ajay Devgn while his daughter-in-law is Kajol.
