Chameli Ki Shaadi is a romantic comedy drama. The movie follows the story of a simpleton named Charandas (Anil Kapoor), who lives with his elder brother and sister-in-law. He is employed as a wrestler and dedicates himself to training rigorously. He even commits to remain celibate till he turns 40; however, things take a turn when he meets a beautiful girl named Chameli (Amrita Singh), the daughter of a coal miner, and falls in love with her. However, their marriage is opposed by their families. Will the lovers be able to convince their families for the match?
