Jalwa is an action comedy drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Kapil (Naseeruddin Shah), who lives with his younger brother, Buntu. Buntu dies due to the overdose of drugs, thus Kapil makes it his mission to put an end to drugs and drug dealings. He then becomes a C.I.D. Inspector, and moves to Bombay. One day, his friend Albert Pinto (Pankaj Kapoor) gets killed and he decides to bring justice to his friend. However, despite his efforts, he doesn’t get Albert’s case. Thus he decides to uncover the truth behind Albert’s death on his own, and punish his murderers. Will Kapil succeed in his mission?
