Jeevan Ek Sanghursh is an action romantic drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Karan (Anil Kapoor), who was sent to remand home as a child when he tried to steal from his evil landlord. Later, his mother Sulakshana (Rakhee) abandons him and moves to Mumbai, with her other son and daughter. However, Karan too escapes the remand home and runs away to Mumbai. He soon joins the underworld and meets a girl named Madhu (Madhuri Dixit) and falls in love with her, and decides to mend his ways. The question remains, will he be able to free himself from his criminal past?
