Laila is a musical romantic drama. The movie revolves around two feuding families headed by Prithviraj (Sunil Dutt) and Bharat Singh (Pran) respectively. Prithviraj decides to finally mend his terms with Bharat’s family, and invites him to the birthday party of his grandson, Deshraj (Anil Kapoor); however, Bharat Singh bribes his chauffeur and gets Prithviraj Singh killed. Later, Deshraj is sent to the hostel to protect him from the wrath of the enemy family. However, years later when Deshraj returns to his hometown, he comes across a beautiful girl named Laila (Poonam Dhillon) and falls in love with her. Little does he know that Laila belongs to the same enemy family responsible for the death of his grandfather. Despite the age long family feud, will the two lovers be able to stay together?
