Namak Halaal is an action-comedy drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Arjun Singh (Amitabh Bachchan), who is brought up by his grandfather in a small town. He grows up and decides to move to a city to find a job and make a living. He moves to the city and gets help from Bhairon (Ram Sethi), who helps him to get a job at a 5-star hotel owned by Mr. Raja Singh (Shashi Kapoor). Arjun serves at the hotel with utmost faith and highly regards Raja for his favour. Later, Arjun learns about the plot for Raja’s murder and decides to protect his master. However, it is yet to be found whether he succeeds in his mission?
