Set during the British rule in the 1790’s, Thugs of Hindostan narrates the story of the times when a set of gangs called thugs challenge the British company rule. The thug's team led by Khudabaksh Azaad (Amitabh Bachchan) poses a serious challenge to the British when the latter hires another local thug Firangi Mallah (Aamir Khan) to nab Azaad. Does Firangi manage to nab Azaad and help the British or joins hands with Azaad to fight the British, all this is revealed in this period action-packed drama.
