Born as Sohail Salim Abdul Rashid Khan, popularly known as Sohail Khan, is an Indian, actor, writer, film director and producer, who is the youngest son of the famous screenwriter, Salim Khan. He started his career as a film director and made his directorial debut with the 1997 action thriller Auzaar, starring Salman Khan and Sanjay Kapoor. He has also directed films like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998), Hello Brother (1999), Jai Hon (2014), etc. He made his screen debut with the 2002 film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, which was followed by Darna Mana Hai (2003), Krishna Cottage (2004), Aryan (2006), Hello (2008), Kisaan (2009), Tubelight (2017) and many more. He has his own production house - Sohail Khan Productions, under which he has produced movies like Hello Brother (1999), Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? (2005), Partner (2007), Ready (2011), Radhe (2021), etc. He married fashion designer Seema Sachdev in 1998, with whom he has two sons - Nirvan and Yohan, but the two separated in 2022.
