The daughter of actors Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle Khanna is an Indian actress and film producer. She started her career in Bollywood with Rajkumar Santoshi’s romantic drama Barsaat (1995), alongside Bobby Deol. The movie was successful at the box office and helped her garner the attention of the audience. Other important films of her career include International Khiladi (1999), Baadshah (1999), Mela (2000), Joru Ka Ghulam (2000), Jodi No. 1 (2001) and Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (2001). She married actor Akshay Kumar in 2001 and the couple has two children. After her marriage, she disappeared from the silver screen.
