Indian actress Guddi Maruti is best known for her comedic roles in Hindi television shows and Bollywood films. Born as Tahira Parab to actor-director father Marutirao Parab, she was given her stage name ‘Guddi Maruti’ by filmmaker Manmohan Desai. She started her career at the age of 10 as a child artist in 1971 film Jaan Haazir Hain. She has acted in over 97 films, including Sau Din Saas Ke (1980), Aag Aur Shola (1986), Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai (1990), Shola Aur Shabnam (1992), Khiladi (1992), Aashik Aawara (1993), Dulhe Raja (1998), Biwi No. 1 (1999) and many more. She is married to businessman Ashok.
