There have been numerous male comedians who have made us laugh with their sheer presence on screen while their comic timing and antics served as the icing on the cake. If one talks about Bollywood male comedians, we get a huge list of them who often overshadowed their female counterparts. Though comediennes have been around ever since Bollywood started producing films in the black-and-white era but unfortunately, never got the due they deserved. 1. Tun Tun (Uma Devi Khatri)
One of the most marvelous Indian female comedians to break the stereotypes was none other than Tun Tun. Regarded as Hindi cinema's first-ever comedienne, Tun Tun is rated among the top 10 best Bollywood comediennes of all time. She started her career as a playback singer giving hits like ‘Afsana Likh Rahi Hoon Dil-e-Beqarar Ka’, ‘Yeh Kaun Chala Meri Aankhon Mein Sama Kar’ and ‘Aaj Machi Hai Dhoom Jhoom Khushi Se Jhoom’, etc., and later shifted to doing comic roles in films like Babul, Aar Paar, Mr. & Mrs. 55, Pyaasa, Bluff Master, Phool Aur Patthar, Do Raaste, Hulchul, Namak Halaal, etc.
2. Manorama

Manorama started her acting career as a child artist in Khazanchi (1941) and later went on to play lead roles in the early 1940s, and then settled down to villainous and comedian roles. 6. Ketki Dave
Ketki Dave needs no introduction to Hindi and Gujarati film audiences.
