Sulochana Latkar, better known as Sulochana, is an Indian actress who has acted in around 250 Hindi films in a career span of five decades. She started her career in Bollywood as a leading lady but later appeared in character roles of a virtuous motherly figure. She has acted in movies like Jhoola (1962), Duniya (1968), Bhai Bahen (1969), Talaash (1969), Johnny Mera Naam (1970), Kati Patang (1970), Amir Garib (1974), Azaad (1978) and Khoon Bhari Maang (1988). She was the recipient of several awards including Chitra Bhushan, Maharashtra Bhushan and Padma Shri (1999). The veteran actress passed away due to health-related issues on 04 June 2023.
