Starting his career in Bollywood with the 1967 film Aman, starring Rajendra Kumar and Saira Banu, the actor was always praised for his acting skills. Former Indian Territorial Army officer, Nana Patekar is a recipient of several awards, who started his career in Bollywood with the 1978 film Gaman. Born as Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan, simply known as Irrfan Khan or Irrfan, was one of the finest Indian actors and the recipient of numerous accolades including National Film Award, Asian Film Award and Filmfare Awards.
