Divya Bharti was a Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu actress of the early 90’s who had a short career before dying under mysterious circumstances at the early age of 19 years. She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Bobbili Raja opposite Venkatesh in 1990 followed by Nila Pennae in Tamil the same year. After giving successful hits down south, she made her first Bollywood appearance in Rajiv Rai’s Vishwatma opposite Sunny Deol in 1992 and followed it up with films like Shola Aur Shabnam, Deewana, Dil Aashna Hai, Dil Hi To Hai, Kshatriya, Rang and Shatranj. She was married to producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala.
