Kanika Kapoor is an Indian singer, who started her career with a stint in All India Radio, and also accompanied bhajan singer Anup Jalota in his shows. Later, she moved to Mumbai to pursue her career in Bollywood. She made her playback debut in Bollywood with the song ‘baby doll’ from Ragini MMS 2 (2014), for which she also earned the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer. Her other important songs include ‘Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan’ from Roy (2015), ‘Desi Look’ from Ek Paheli Leela (2015), ‘Premika’ from Dilwale (2015), ‘Luv Letter’ from The Legend of Michael Mishra (2016), ‘Beat Pe Booty’ from A Flying Jatt (2016) and many more. In 1998, she married an NRI businessman Raj Chandok, but the two separated in 2012. In 2022, she married NRI businessman Gautam Hathiramani.
