Indian actress and former model, Shilpa Shirodkar made her acting debut in Bollywood with Ramesh Sippy’s 1989 film Bhrashtachar, co-starring Mithun Chakraborty and Rekha. She got fame for her lead role in the 1990 film Kishen Kanhaiya, alongside Anil Kapoor. She has acted in several movies in her Bollywood career that spanned from 1989 to 2000. Some of the important movies of her career include Trinetra (1991), Hum (1991), Khuda Gawah (1992), Aankhen (1993), Pehchaan (1993), Gopi Kishan (1994), Bewafa Sanam (1995), Mrityudand (1997), and many more. After 13 years, the actress made her comeback in acting with a television soap. She is married to UK-based banker Aparesh Ranjit, with whom she has a daughter.
