Dil is a romantic comedy drama. The movie revolves around a college-going boy named Raja (Aamir Khan), who meets a girl named Madhu (Madhuri Dixit) in his college. Raja is the son of Hazari Prasad (Anupam Kher), who is a miser man and wants a rich girl for Raja, who can bring huge dowry. However, Raja falls in love with Madhu, the daughter of Durgesh. Initially, Hazari and Durgesh are happy with the match, but when Durgesh learns about Hazari’s plans, he insults Hazari and asks Madhu to break all ties. However, the two couldn’t forget each other and continue to meet each other. Will the two be able to convince their father’s for the match?
