Diljit Dosanjh is an Indian singer-songwriter and actor. He has appeared in several commercially successful Punjabi movies like Jatt & Juliet (2012), Sardaar Ji (2015), Ambarsariya (2016), Sajjan Singh Rangroot (2018), and Shadaa (2019). He made his acting debut in Bollywood with Abhishek Chaubey’s black comedy crime film Udta Punjab (2016) which earned him Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. It was followed by his lead roles in movies like Phillauri (2017), Soorma (2018), Good Newwz (2019), and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari (2020). He has written and sung a number of Bollywood songs like Udta Punjab’s “Ikk Kudi'', Soorma’s “Ishq Di Baajiyan”, Arjun Patiala’s “Dil Todeya” and Good Newwz’ “Sauda Khara Khara”.
